Taafeek

Based upon the recommendations of past SME participants, we decided to try a restaurant tucked away behind some buildings near the guest house - Taafeek.  I'm glad we did.  It was incredible: saag gosht, murg tikka masala, butter murg, and something else I don't know, along with butter naan, garlic naan, and roti to eat it with.  I'm not sure exactly what everything was, but I know that gosht is lamb, murg is chicken, and saag is a kind of creamy spinach cheese mixture.  Everything was family style, and each dish had enough for two to have a full meal, or for four to taste.  I think the butter chicken was the best, but chicken tikka masala was awesome as well.  In fact, all of it was awesome.  AND, the entire meal came out to about 600 rupees, or about $3.30 per person.  The menu there was over twenty pages, full of all kinds of things that none of us know anything about, but Indian food hasn't failed us yet.  Over the course of this internship, we'll be spending a lot of dinners at Taafeek.
